Through La Sagrada Família, we present the theology of beauty, beauty as an epiphany of God and His truth, what is visible as a path towards the invisible, uttering what cannot be described in the symbol and the liturgy in union with Christ and the Trinity, the bonds (from the beautiful to the good, from the beautiful to the small and children), the beauty of holiness, the attraction of the mystery given form in Gaudí’s basilica as a source of communion.

The dialogue between poets takes place in poems which, through question and answer, seek to find channels of communication between passages recited. Similarly, music from different periods and styles creates a peculiar atmosphere in which a harmony is created, precisely from the diversity of musical styles. Music unites the whole basilica, creating a space of great spiritual density.

As part of the Courtyard of the Gentiles initiative, three lectures will take place on the themes of “Art, Beauty and Transcendence”. The lectures will take place at MNAC, the University of Barcelona, and the Institute of Catalan Studies. The closing concert will take place at the Basilica of La Sagrada Família at 6.30 pm on 18 May 2012.
